Our SOMATOM Sensation 64 CT scanner is the world’s fastest and most advanced 64-slice CT system. At 0.33 seconds per rotation (spinning 30 miles per hour) the Sensation provides increased image resolution without increasing radiation dosage beyond the traditional 16-slice technology. Sub-millimeter imaging is now routine (0.4mm) and provide more valuable diagnostic data than ever before.

The 64 slice CT scanner utilized at Siker Medical Imaging can image most organs in less than 10 seconds, providing unprecedented image quality of the smallest intracranial, pulmonary, mesenteric, and peripheral vessels.

The shorter scanning times and increased resolution improve the ability of physicians to diagnose and treat disease states earlier and more accurately while significantly increasing patient comfort.

The SOMATOM Sensation delivers unmatched image quality and faster acquisition time for cardiac examinations, virtually freezing the heart’s motion (CTA of the Chest Coronary Arteries). The increased speed facilitates data acquisition for patients who have higher heart rates or those who have difficulty holding their breath, such as elderly or pediatric patients.
